What were they even thinking, putting her on the ticket considering how she bombed in the Primaries? If they un-democratically installed her, they could have un-democratically installed someone else.

The only thing that makes sense is that they have some Magic Cheating Wand, and the candidate doesn’t matter in the least. They could have a fence post at the top of the ticket and it would win.
