Most of the coins look new, which adds greatly to their value.

Bury your paper USD’s and Bitcoins, doubt they will be worth anything when dug up.
Gold and Silver has been money for 5,000 years. It is no wonder all the world’s Central Banks have recently been buying historic amounts of Gold ( and Silver).

From what I want understand, the UK is pretty good about paying for historic funds like this. The US government would try to find a way to cheat you out of it. If you find it, shovel and shut up (no need to shoot it first).
And the obligatory pun I think of whenever I hear the word hoard:
Did you hoard all this money by yourself? No, my sister whored half of it.

Soaking of pennies, Sen. Kennedy said that if you gave kaMAla a penny for her thoughts, you’d get change back.

—- Bury your paper USD’s and Bitcoins,
Isn’t the point of Bitcoin that it doesn’t need to be buried?
It can be cold-stored on a thumb drive wallet or easily transferred to a better legal jurisdiction.

But will they work in a vending machine? Better question: Is one enough to wash one load in a modern laundromat?
