I get that. For those jobs, I would suggest doing the online app, and then give a visit to speak to the manager during a slow time, (Don’t go in at the lunch rush) to introduce yourself and tell them you applied on line.
I am not sure where you live or what types of jobs she is looking for, but our local grocery store is hiring people on the spot. If she is looking for a “career” starter, she is going to need some time doing this kind of “scut work” to make a credible application for an entry level “career” job.
Being a recovering introvert, I can understand how stepping up can be tough.
I wish her (and you) good luck. I hated seeing my girls “struggle” as they entered the workforce. I always wanted to “help” them, but I couldn’t because I knew nothing about their careers.
In this case, I have to lay some of the blame at management’s feet. They know what they’re hiring, PLUS the owner doesn’t know anything about running a successful business. She doesn’t have any common sense.
She needs to lobby to keep radios in cars so she can be a radio host.
Lol.
Yes...our GOVERNMENT! She would fit in perfectly!

Either volunteer as a member of the “experimental” group in a test of contagious disease remedies or settle for being compost. Those are the 2 jobs for which you are qualified, self-wreckage.
Does it have a marketable skill set?
what ever happened to circusus with freak shows.
Forethought doesn’t always come to mind for some folks.
