The San Jose State Spartans women’s volleyball team cruised to a 3-1 victory over the New Mexico Lobos as they continue to compete under a shroud of controversy over having a transgender athlete on their roster.
Blaire Fleming, the player in question, led the way with 18 kills in the match. Brooke Bryant added 14 while Eda Koker, Emma Testi and Brooke Slusser each had nine. One of Fleming’s kills in the third set raised eyebrows on social media. San Jose State set Fleming up for the spike, and she nailed one down off of the Lobos’ libero.
The ball appeared to either go off of the Lobos player’s face or chest. The momentum took her backwards, and she fell to the ground. The point went to the Spartans. The play raised eyebrows on social media.
Last week, a similar play against San Diego State garnered attention after it appeared Fleming’s spike nailed an opponent in the face. However, San Diego State said that was not the case. "The ball bounced off the shoulder of the student-athlete, and the athlete was uninjured and did not miss a play."
Fleming’s inclusion on the San Jose State women’s volleyball teams has sparked a ton of controversy, leading teams to decide to forfeit matches and a lawsuit from one of Fleming’s teammates against the NCAA. Mountain West Conference Commissioner Gloria Nevarez said the controversy left her heartbroken.
"It breaks my heart because they’re human beings, young people, student-athletes on both sides of this issue that are getting a lot of national negative attention," she said. "It just doesn’t feel right to me."

#3?
I would feel SO SORRY for the poor, genuine girl who is tagged as a tranny. That would hurt. I hope #15 doesn’t ever read your comment.
This is another downside of the tranny craze. It’s like boys used to be branded “gay” in high school when they weren’t.
Welllllll, you can't deny he's very cute........
Sorry, not very Christian of me.
#3...no boobs, but well developed thighs and calves....I don’t think a female lacking boobs could develop thighs like that.
Volleyball was the only sport I played competitively in college. There is no way a woman could compare to the speed and power from the male players. None. Some of the hits and blocks were enough to know me on my arse in my prime. Other teams are right for boycotting the team.
Potato, pah-tato

I never thought this nation would fall so far so fast. In my 50 or so years, this craps has gone from not being heard of to forcing them a crap down our throats and people trying to force us to accept degeneracy.
I believe the point has been reached when the women involved must be held accountable. The women on opposing teams should refuse to compete against these men. AND the women on the teams with these men are just as responsible, even guilty, for going along with it.
This sick crap would stop pretty quickly if all of the real females simply said no. We are not playing with men and we are not competing against men. Absolutely not.
Morons.
The only way to get rid of guys in girl sports is not to measure the size of their penises and/or determine their testosterone level: it is to refuse to play against them in any competition for all female participants. Let them have their trophies awarded by the woke sporting authorities; but deny them the joys of competition, adrenaline, endorphin release and sporting camaraderie. They will disappear in no time.
You mean the one with the Adam’s apple?
AND he has access to watching the girls undress including minors.
What woman would play with or against that freak?
Shame on you girls! ( I mean the real girls- shame)
#3....no curvey’s in the
hips. Easy to spot.
Let these freaks form their
own leagues. Though, I don’t
think trangsgender volleyball
would garner much of an
audiance.
NEEDS TO BE A BILLBOARD
The college men’s soccer leading scorer of all time played for Appalachian State. App no longer has a men’s soccer program due to Title IX.
So when all the people in the Sun Belt FB group are bragging on their soccer programs, I get to boast “They won’t beat App State this year”.
Not Title IX - because they don’t have (or don’t want) to spend funds on a full spectrum of sports.
I’m sure they didn’t scrimp on football program after Title IX.
