It is not new, many understand the problem and have either personally witnessed the disaster caused by these Western mass migration policies or know someone in their immediate family and friends that have been impacted.

In other words, it's not a theoretical problem anymore. It's personal and real at this point for many people, at least when talking about the middle and lower classes.

Western governments have become largely unresponsive to the will of the people on many of the true issues which impact peoples lives.

So called political rivals use faux issues like race, sexuality, abortion, climate change in order to differentiate themselves (market differentiation) while they are united on all the serious/real issues which would impact party and campaign donors (the oligarch).

The solution by the establishment in Europe is something which is very telling, and this is also true in the US.

There is much or at least was, a lot of talk about a uni-party in some of our media for a while, meaning that even here in the US, there is no real difference between the Democrats and much of the Republicans on many of the real and important issues. Europe proves this to be true once again. You are actually seeing so called left wing parties form coalitions with the right wing parties in order to remain in power. You are seeing coalitions between the SPD and CDU, which is like saying the Democrats and Republics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_coalition_(Germany) How different are they really? Not much.

Likewise, you see not only the Democrats go against Trump, but many in his own party, the former McCain, Romney, Christie, McConnell...

What it really boils down to is this: In all your Western democracies, you have an oligarch class which has a disproportionate influence on the the political apparatus. These people are the ones that finance the political parties and the candidates campaign (the Western career politician depends on them). They are the ones bankrolling the lobbying efforts, legal action for or against something, finance PACs, control the MSM, help finance election process itself (that is an obvious conflict of interest which few even recognize!), and ensure many of these politicians or their family become very wealthy on their “public servant” salary.

On most of the truly important issues, you basically have the so called left and right in agreement because they both get nudged in a direction by the same folks with the same interests.

If you ask most Americans, Democrat or Republican, if it is good that much of US manufacturing was exported to China (PRC), they will be in agreement with a resounding “NO!” Yet Republicans and Democrats (Trump being the only exception) support the same agenda which is actually contrary to the public's voice and frankly best self interest. The same goes with Saudi Arabia, the war in Ukraine (public opinion already flipped against the war last year and that is why the mentioning of polls has ceased - it no longer works in support of selling the war to the public), mass immigration, school vouchers (choice in education)...

Most likely happening here soon- if not already - residents of Springfield, OH report Haitians using grocery stores like their own personal pantries - biting into fruit and putting it back, opening up canned food, sticking their fingers in and putting it back on the shelf, ripping open bags of chips, etc. grabbing handfuls and putting it back, etc.

And next election the stupid Brits will still vote Labor or Conservative instead of for Nigel Farage’s reform party. 🙄
