it’s a thin line between “plagiarism” and merely cutting-and-pasting the talking points one’s handlers have prescribed.
or is it?

Oh wow. This is a huge issue because it destroys her credibility AND every entity or person trying to defend her who touches it.

Remember, Kamala Harris was California Attorney General from 2011 to 2017. This was right in the middle of when Sean "Diddy" Combs was having his very illicit "freak out" parties, many of which were held in his mansions in California. If Harris was using her time as AG to "protect" Diddy, that could very quickly end the Harris campaign because she could be brought up on obstruction of justice charges at minimum.

This type of behavior buried politicians…40 years ago.
Not sure if it will have any impact today.

Plagiarism is stealing, bad.
Self-plagiarism...re-copying old stuff... not so bad IMO.

It would be a pop up book with a yellow school bus and some Venn diagrams. She understands those.

Throw the co-writer under the bus. That’s all she can do.

I do believe in Free Speech.
But I don’t think it’s OK that 99% of Major Media is primarily in the business of helping the Democrats and hurting the Republicans. That’s not what the First Amendment is for.
I’d like the FCC to start stomping on media that is blatantly biased. Of course, that is somewhat subjective. But for decades, there have been “mistakes” in media coverage, and for decades, 100% of the “mistakes” have benefited the Democrats.
I’d like the FCC to try and be fair, but it they make any “mistakes” and some of those “mistakes” seem unfair and punitive to the Democrats, then [shrug] that’s just how it goes.
But businesses like the NYT, CNN, and MSNBC should probably be driven into bankruptcy.

“It is a very sensitive topic”. D’oh.

There’s also the fact she tried less than a dozen cases while a prosecutor. Was a ‘no show / rarely show’ job as she was the sidepiece of a prominent politician and not expected to work for it.
