FEMA Warns They Don’t Have The Resources To Block Humanitarian Aid For Next Hurricane

TAMPA, FL — FEMA announced this week they don't have enough resources to block any outside humanitarian aid coming into Florida and surrounding states ahead of Hurricane Milton.

"It's a shame, really," FEMA Spokesman Randy Tarwater told the press. "We wish we had more money to construct quality blockades and hire the personnel needed to keep good samaritans from delivering life-saving aid to stranded residents. Unfortunately, the resources just aren't there."

FEMA announced the lack of funds this week after disclosing that the agency spent the majority of its money giving all illegal aliens $500 Target gift cards and free Honda Civics. With thousands of hurricane victims projected to receive aid from unauthorized rescuers, FEMA apologized for the oversight and vowed to make every effort to ensure that they would be the only ones to not deliver aid to hurricane victims.

"I was amazed how quickly I could get aid to these desperate people without FEMA there," helicopter pilot Dan Egan said. "I wasn't arrested or told to turn back. I rescued 15 people and delivered food to almost two hundred stranded residents. It was awesome!"

A FEMA spokesperson said all future federal funding for the agency would be allocated to hunt down and hold noble citizens like Egan accountable.

At publishing time, the Biden administration committed at least $576 additional dollars to help ensure every American resident affected by the devastating hurricanes gets the help they need.

Did they have to pull resources to try again to kill Trump?

My spouse is down there as I write this and she told me that De Santos is already bringing in humanitarian aid because he doesn’t think FEMA can handle it. So this item is a mute point. FEMA has already been bypassed.

In my experience, conservatives generally don't do comedy well. The Babylon Bee is the exception.

The important item is WHY FEMA is unwelcome and being bypassed.

“...WHY FEMA is unwelcome and being bypassed.”

Not unwelcome, just not figured into doing their job. With hurricanes being a major situation in Florida for many decades during which time starting in 1979 FEMA has responded. Some responses have been, shall we say, better than others. And they don’t have a history of product failure, just mis-management. Their communication and coordiation hasn’t had any real adequacy since 2017 when the people found out the agency is undermanned, underfunded, and mis-managed.

FEMA is an excuse for trying to throw feel good programs to try to make the feds look better than they are. And their faiolure to run it properly and trying to do things they have no control over makes them baffoons. DeSantos has been consistent with his determination that relief should be locally handled and was started in 2013 when he voted against sending funds in comgress calling it a pork project.

But he is on the ball in Florida as he had the national guard and other services in operation before Helene and is still deploying for safety and security. And dedicated funds are being used. They were the ants in the grasshopper story.
