Well I play Black Sabbath at 78 speed, man.
Recently, Dr. Fauci used large groups of people in SW China to do his Double-Blind studies on vaccines and boosters. I wonder if they're ready to roll again?
That does seem much higher than microdosing amounts, although I’m not really familiar with them. I thought they were fairly miniscule.
As an (almost) septuagenarian who recently decided to dabble in psilocybin mushrooms, I’ve micro-dosed and taken doses under the threshold for visual hallucinations (other than some interesting geometric patterns and color enhancements).
I decided to take them mostly out of curiosity. My experiences have been quite enjoyable. The psilocybin gave me a deep sense of peace and relaxation.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend psychedelic mushrooms for individuals whose brains are still developing. Basically, not enough is known about the long term effects of psilocybin, but for indiduals in the last couple of decades of life, enjoy! Just don’t vote Democrat....
Ahh the 70s and the cow pastures. Those were the days. College guys walking around the University Cow pasture after every spring rain. I think maybe there were adds in the back of High Times Magazine for the spores. And maybe the hipsters were seeding the fresh cow pies.
Wouldn’t vote dem even if I could lol.
As a fellow septuagenarian who doesn’t dabble in anything other than a nice glass of wine, I have an interest in the subject for treating anxiety, PTSD, and similar ailments of people I know. I get conflicting reports and warnings, but I am wondering if that’s a matter of taking care of covering all of the angles, being such a litigious society. Personally, I can’t see microdosing being harmful.
“therapeutic psychadelics” are new marketing vector. apparently the CIA just used the wrong dosages.
Terrible idea.
It’s good to be aware that all illicit street drugs, including marijuana, have been used by America’s enemies as weapons of war against us.
That’s not to say there aren’t potential benefits for some things.
But like I say, it’s necessary to keep in mind the full picture of what’s happening to us.
Strange fixation with the idea that psychomimetic drugs somehow offer a cure for people who got that way without using drugs. Sort of a latter day homeopathic solution. It began with LSD, many decades ago, Timothy Leary at Harvard, and the Merry Pranksters in California. Nobody tries to use LSD for treatment now.
More recently it has been claims that marijuana treats PTSD. I worked with hundreds of veterans who had been using marijuana for many years, and after many years their lives were still a mess. But somehow if a doctor writes a script for it, it attains magical curative powers.
I guess based on the popular 60s fiction story “The Yaqui Way of Knowledge,” the goobers are now gobbling magic mushrooms. Maybe they will turn into hawks at night. Could be.
After 60-70 trips on them from mushrooms 45 years ago
My suggestion is go slow
One to three grams of dried is plenty for all but Oort Belt pros
We always had fresh off the cow pile
Never took dry ones ?
But that’s what I’m told by those who currently take them
The side effect unfortunately is an employment disorder. Dudes tend to never hold a steady job thereafter.
Like insecticide (fentanyl) used to kill Americans en masse.
Another problem in the recreational drug world is that there used to be drug dealers that kept a local clientele that enjoyed mutual best interest. Advice and advice came along with that structure. It was never in your local dealer's interest to have you overdose, jump off a balcony, drive impared, etc.....Unfortunately that's long gone.
I seem to remember laughing and smiling a lot.
Giving psychedelic drugs to people who have mental illness issues is a recipe for disaster.
They never give up on this crap, do they?
Mental Health = Pseudoscience.
**How about old folks homes?**
**Terrible idea.**
And ecstasy? They don’t have much to do.
Good Post.
Hard physical work, restricted social contacts, fresh air, and self reliance, along with facing your mistakes, will set you right.
To the drug dealers I say: prepare to meet your maker!
