Fatalism is a Hindu and Muhammedism thing and has no place in Christian life.
We are called to trust and also act. Very many references from “dominion” in Genesis to the “parts of the body” analogy in Corinthians. We are here by His will and to do His will, not to slough off and let whatever happen.
Our daily life is also an action plan. We are to read the word and pray. That requires effort on our part!
