Ukrainian kamikaze drone strikes 'struck Putin's Satan-2 nuclear missiles' - prompting huge explosion

A Ukrainian kamikaze drone strike reportedly struck Vladimir Putin's Satan-2 nuclear missile, prompting an apocalyptic explosion yesterday morning.

A secret ammunition silo facility at Toropets in Tver region that housed one of the Russian President's nuke missiles was hit by Ukrainian drone, it was claimed yesterday.

It allegedly happened just ten miles from an 'indestructible' 30,000 ton munitions storage site that had been obliterated on Wednesday.

A huge explosion was triggered when the 'Satan-2' missile was hit, causing locals to panic over fears of a Doomsday detonation.

The claim that the missile was destroyed came from a Russian Telegram channel and a news blackout intensified the rumour.

NATO is biting a patriotic American should support.

Sorry, I have no idea what you were trying to say. I don't think you did, either.

Really playing with fire here....

I agree!

Putin started the fire.

The most obvious solution would thus be for Putin to withdraw all of his invasion army and surrender all illegally occupied territory.

No UKR drone has the range to reach the Plesetsk test range in the Arkhangelsk region 800km north of Moscow. The explosion of the liquid fuel wiped out the test facility; the 4th failure.

“...our NATO allies...”

They are not “allies”. They are welfare leaches and serfs. They do not even bother to pay for their membership. How many of those parasite Eurotrash countries pay even 2% of their GDP into the military? They have been sucking on the USA teat for nearly a century.

Calling them allies is like saying Armenia, Azerbaijan or any of the “Stan” countries are allies of Russia. The sooner NATO is liquidated the better. Let Europe defend itself for once or they should be annexed by the US and become totally subservient to America. /spit

More like for 75 years, but...

Look, I agree that our European allies should carry their fair share of the load. But Prince of Space was gleefully envisioning Western Europe being engulfed by clouds of radioactive contamination.

Please keep your sense of proportion here!

[...The Russians were loading up munitions trains and drones hit the rail cars.]

And the incompetent Russian conscripts left the blast doors down while working.

If a nuclear warhead had detonated, the NY Times would have reported yesterday. We would not be reading about it first in the UK DailyMail.

Your trust in the NYT is charming.

Nuclear armed strategic missiles are kept in underground silos or tunnels or on subs many of which are at sea ready to strike a warmongerer. Start attacking strategic assets and the whole world will be at DEFCON 1.

It takes a very precisely timed detonation to cause a critical nuclear reaction on a nuclear weapon. Even just blowing one up externally isn’t going to cause it to go off. It would probably scatter highly radioactive material everywhere, but not go critical.

Source: I’m retired USAF. We accidently dropped one from altitude and it didn’t explode.

Putin supporters shedding tears over the destruction of a weapon literally named "Satan."

Unbelievable.

It is not named "Satan", that's simply the NATO designation for it. Same thing as Foxbat or Flanker or Blackjack or Frogfoot or Hind or so on.. Which is not what the Russians call them!

US missiles, intelligence and satellites being used on targets a couple hundred KM from Moscow.

No, Biden admin still does not allow Ukraine to target military sites in Russia with long range US (ATACMS) or English missiles.

Forbes names the new Ukraine missile Palianytsia, as the possible weapon used in the attack.

The winged, turbojet-propelled Palianytsia has been in development for more than a year but only recently made its combat debut. On Aug. 24, at least one Palianytsia struck a target in Russian-occupied Crimea, Ukrainian Pres. Volodymyr Zelensky announced.

The Palianytsia boasts a AI-PBS-350 turbojet engine, jointly developed by PBS in the Czech Republic and Ukrainian firm Ivchenko-Progress. The 220-pound AI-PBS-350 produces 3,400 newtons of thrust—enough to propel a one-ton missile several hundred miles.

There was an explosion (not nuclear). There was damage.

By satellite imagery, the damage is revealed to include a portion of the site, not the nuclear missile bunkers. Those are protected more than the surrounding buildings anyway, so a drone strike would not be expected to penetrate the SATAN-2 silos.

The damage to the facility and munitions stored there was significant, but insufficient to change the course of the war. The estimates of loss of munitions range from 2 days worth to two weeks worth - nobody knows exactly - based on what the Russian Ministry of Defense has previously said it expends per day. But RUssia has almost limitless production and access to munitions so it doesn’t change anything in the war.

NATO/Deep State wants to provoke all out war with Russia and if it takes striking nuclear bunkers, they’ll do it.

It's an apt designation. There's a reason NATO didn't name it, e.g., "Warm Puppy."

Putin's Russia is a hostile country. I am glad that it now has (at least) one "Satan" missile less.

I live outside a military base in the US. Last night I heard what sounded like many of the planes warming up and taking off. I wonder if this incident had anything to do with that.

“”””How many of those parasite Eurotrash countries pay even 2% of their GDP into the military? “”””

It is up to 23 of them currently and at least 29 of them meet or far exceed the 20% portion for new equipment and weapons.

The idea that strategic deterrence level nuclear hardware can be interdicted with cheap off the shelf technology emanating from within a second or third tier adversaries border has got to raise some eyebrows…

I thought just that one strike on the 18th was estimated to destroy 2-3 months worth of Russian armament.
