5 NFL Players Who Are Probably Voting For Donald Trump In November
The Spun ^ | Sep 11, 2024 | Andrew Holleran

The 2024 presidential election is right around the corner.

Tuesday night, we had our first - and probably only - debate between the two candidates - Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Trump, the 45th president of the United States, and Harris, the current vice president, squared off in a no-audience debate moderated by ABC News in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most have given the slight edge to Harris following the debate, based on her performance, though it's still expected to be a tight race that should come down to a couple of swing states, with Pennsylvania being arguably the biggest of them.

While many NFL players, including Patrick Mahomes, choose to keep their politics to themselves, there are a handful of NFL players who have been outspoken in their support of Trump and the Republican party.

Here are five NFL players likely voting for Trump in November.

49ers star Nick Bosa

Bosa has been pretty outspoken in his support of Trump and the Republican Party over the years. He will almost definitely be voting for Trump in November.

Chargers star Joey Bosa

Like his younger brother, Joey Bosa has shown support for Donald Trump, hanging out with the former United States president at UFC events.

Raiders QB Gardner Minshew

The Raiders quarterback was spotted smiling for a photo with Donald Trump over the NFL offseason.

Mahomes may be keeping quiet now, but he was all over some cringeworthy race=baiting videos in 2020.

What do I care how NFL players, who I don’t know, vote? This fascination with celebrities is silly.

Joe Burrow took a picture with Trump, but I think he is a big Democrat.

He respects Trump so I'll give him that. But evidence appears to lead to him being a Democrat.

I know for a fact Seattle Seahawks 1st round pick Byron Murphy/DT out of Texas is full MAGA. Wanted to wear MAGA cleats at pro-day last year and the school said no.

We have a very good family friend, not too far out of retirement in the NFL. He is black. He is all in for Trump and told us in 2020 that the public would be shocked how many NFL players go for Trump. Haven’t talked to him recently but I suspect it’s the same.

On my run yesterday morning i notice a red pick up truck stopped at the light. As i get closer i notice a “Trump 2024” hat stuck on the middle of the dashboard in the middle of the windshield. As i get close i notice not only is it a “Trump 2024” hat but the drive is- wait for it now- a black woman wearing a MAGA hat.

Of course i gave her a big thumbs up as i passed by and she said, “thank you.”

In 2023, the greatest share of players by ethnic group in the National Football League (NFL) were black or African American athletes, constituting just over 53 percent of players within the NFL. Despite the large population of Hispanic or Latino people within the United States, there is a substantial underrepresentation within the NFL, with only 0.5 percent of players identifying as such.

2/3 of the NFL Players is for Harris, my guess.

A lot of it is because of different demographics in MLB.

Maybe you’re right. The culture is different in the NFL.
