These two ancient skeletons buried at the Gua Chalan site were discovered by archaeologists excavating a limestone cave there before it is flooded by a hydroelectric lake.

How ‘bout otters? Any trophies like otter fang necklaces, otter pelts, or otter skulls?

Ahhh….

The good old Hoabinhians.

Used to play polo with them on Saturdays.

Not a good looking group.

Reminded me of Planet of the Apes without a spaceship.

And they rode ostriches instead of horses.

They always had the biggest omelettes.

I remember the old Hoabinhians
They loved to express their opinions
"Vote Trump" they once said
"Or we'll cut off your head!"
And their voting machines weren't Dominians.

Give a guy a break here. I was stuck for a rhyme.

Scientists also think the Hoabinhian peoples used many wild plants

Nonsense! I think they had no idea that plants and animals were edible.

You may know it as Kuala Lumpur, but it will always be Burma to me. ;)

[Archaeologists think the earliest skeleton from the Malaysian excavation may be up to 16,000 years old.]

Man, that really puts “perpetual care” to the test.
