The much-anticipated debate between President Trump and Kamala Harris took place last night. President Trump didn’t need to do much—he just had to hold his ground and remind everyone that Kamala’s had nearly four years to fix all the problems she keeps talking about, yet instead, everything’s only gotten worse. And Trump did exactly that, with ease. Kamala, on the other hand, needed a big win. She needed to blow it out of the water and prove to the American people that she had all the answers and was the “leader” this country needed. She failed miserably on that front, and as a result, she didn’t move the needle.

Kamala Harris was asked if she believes Americans are better off now than they were 4 years ago, and she didn’t answer the question because she knows the answer, and it’s a resounding “NO.”

I was hoping the debate would be the end of this and boost Trump past Kamala for good. But, deep down I knew better. Trump should never have agreed with this debate. For 1, he isn’t a good debater, even when his opponents are idiots. 2 the cards were going to be stacked against him on ABC, that was obvious from the moment they agreed to this debate.
God help us all.

It is what you hoped for. Relax, don’t follow the media’s take on it. Trump dominated that debate. People who like Trump and want him to win are nervous and think that he took the bait but responding to all the nastiness. They wanted him to ignore the attacks. That’s the same thing they told Romney, that doesn’t work; you end up getting defined by the attacker. Bush left office with 25% approval rating by taking that advice. It’s nonsense. Trump pushed back and didn’t allow them to define him. She did not look at all Presidential, as a matter of fact, all of the things they accused Trump of could be found in Harris. She didn’t talk about policy at all, she only insulted Trump, calling him a rapist, a convict, a felon. Oh that’s lovely but that’s only because you’ve weaponized the DOJ. The only section I think Trump actually lost was the healthcare section. Pretty good winning percentage. A lot of the questions (30-40 minutes worth) were just attacks on Trump barely even formed as a question and Harris still couldn’t put him away (How many ally hoop passes do you need?). The abortion section was basically a push and that’s with the moderators not holding her feet to the fire at all. They have this thing where they can’t ask each other questions so Trump would ask her and the Moderators with move on when they knew she didn’t have an answer. Conversely, they would do all of the asking the followups on Trump and he still crushed it. Relax, Trump absolutely crushed it.
When you have a prostitute running for President, you’ve reached the climax of your civilization.
From being Willy’s 29 year old play thing, she sure has aged. You don’t see people aging that fast.
In a national crisis, we can’t afford to hear giggling coming from the White House situation room.
Yup but Trump had a strategy. People wanted him to hit that all night but his decision was to hold it to the end and I think in retrospect that was the right approach. That question is going to be left in the minds of the undecides. Why didn’t you do it for 3.5 years. Since it was the last thing said, she didn’t have a chance to respond. Had he did it over and over she may have had a response.

Right out of the gate.
I noticed that, too and was disgusted with her mocking, derisive, dismissive attitude, and he looked angry and sullen.
That said, I doubt it was going to change the polls at all.

I've noticed gas prices are dropping, just as I expected, so they can claim they did it.
They are counting on Americans being short sighted and forgetful about who caused them to go up in the first place.
