Where Are All the Hurricanes?
PJ Media ^ | September 07, 2024 | Rick Moran

Hurricane forecasters are bewitched, bothered, and bewildered. The Atlantic hurricane season was supposed to be epic. Instead, it's turned into a real dud.

Huge storms wreaking havoc on coastlines from Aruba to Long Island were supposed to line up in the Eastern Atlantic in June and hit us one at a time until late September. The damage was going to be historic and the TV coverage was going to give climate change fanatics plenty of air time to vent that "this is just a foretaste" of what's to come.

But something puzzling occurred on the way to hurricane Armageddon: not much has happened. The Atlantic Ocean has seen five named storms: two tropical storms, two hurricanes and one major hurricane this season.

Hurricanes depend on warm oceans.

Also, when a planet is cooling the energy differential that drives violent storms DECREASES. This has been demonstrated.

When Krakatoa exploded, it created weather effects that noticeably lasted around the world for about five years.

So when Hunga Tonga-Hunga, about as powerful as Krakatoa, exploded *underwater* in January of 2022, it not only blasted an enormous amount of water *through* the Stratosphere, into the Mesosphere, but heated much of the water in the Pacific Ocean and even Atlantic Ocean.

We have never seen the like before. So of course, since then has been a “52-card pick up” of weather effects.

We...don’t...know.

“So can we now, and in the same manner, declare that the atmospheric CO2 reductions have been moderated to safe levels and that “Climate Change” has been resolved ?”

Absolutely not, because that would be giving credence to their lie that man-made CO2 has anything to do with the weather. And that would make it even easier for them to push their b.s. and AGW tyranny in the future.

That is exactly what is happening whenever I view any given weather-related 24-hr / 365 channel: meteorologists that probably got their degrees off the back of a cereal box and oh sooo deeply mired in the bog of indoctrination, misinformation and outright hoax, gesticulating wildly toward either a computerized weather map of the U.S. or after a presentation of hurricanes that impacted YEARS ago, and fairly shouting “the end is near!!!”

“We’re not out of the woods yet, people—September is the MOST ACTIVE part of the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season!”

***meanwhile, off the coast of Northern Africa and into the Atlantic ALL THE WAY into the Gulf of Mexico, Saharan Desert dust wafts continuously into the picture like a raindrop snuffing out a candle…***

***fizzle…***

These people have absolutely nothing to talk about unless it’s some sort of disaster ongoing (like the torrential rains and flooding that has hit this year (Houston area for one), or trying to send folks into a fullblown panic over absolutely NOTHING going on, “but there’s always the chance of a major hurricane developing before the season officially ends”.

I’ve heard that the seas are actually cooling off rather quickly, early and unexpectedly. Oh dear that might put a damper on things (no pun intended).

Don’t even get me started on the storm chasing goofballs. Out there risking their lives to warn us of a tornado they just punched the core of and nearly got swept up into and killed. Really need to prove the power and danger of the storm brother.

On an April evening at exactly 7:00 pm, I didn’t need to see the tornado that struck my little town. It turned pitch black outside toward the west-southwest from our kitchen window and we ran to shelter in the hallway. Our warning was from my phone weather app (that I’d been using to keep an eye on a ferocious isolated cell tracking straight for us out of the south), and began to loudly blare the EBS tone, and my sister calling from 35 miles away to make sure I and my parents were in shelter and aware.

The sirens sounded AFTER the tornado had already ripped through. And tore up a nursing home. Thank God, no one died and all were transported to other local facilities.

Some forecasters say the lull is partially due to heavy activity in the Pacific, which is now tapering off. Apparently the Pacific storms were sucking out steam from the Atlantic side. Another reason, they say, could be that storms coming off the coast of Africa are at a lower latitude than normal. Who knows? I just hope we’re not walloped in late Sept-October.

"I keep tabs on the action."
"all it takes is 1 to ruin a lot of folks days/weeks/months."

Same here in Juno Beach - I've been through dozens of storms since the late 80's. If you're not paying attention or not prepared, you're just asking for it.

You have to just sift through the propaganda. Mike's weather page, Storm2k.org, and others are the must visits when a storm is approaching. Certainly not the Weather Channel or people like Shep on Fox a few years ago telling me I'm going to DIE if I don't evacuate.

Praying for UF to court Big Game James Franklin and pay his buyout. Please? We can discount him.

I'm going to Florida in October.
Then you'll know where the hurricanes are.

I’m from Florida and they said it would be a slow hurricane season. Maybe 1 or 2 towards the end of the season, Nov. 30.

I’d love nothing more than to never have a hurricane ever again. Living in Florida, that’s my one and only negative.

They were wrong, but they’ll certainly blame climate change for them being wrong.
