Everyone knows the left can't meme, but watching them attempt to troll the right is just as entertaining in person.

Here's the setup:

A couple of weeks ago, vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance walked into a donut shop and ordered donuts. The left-leaning media had a field day because things became awkward when the donut lady expressed hostility about being on camera.

The encounter ended with Vance saying, 'Give me some glaze, sprinkle-themed stuff, some of these cinnamon rolls … yeah, whatever makes sense.'

"Who orders donuts like that?" the Left screamed.

Two weeks later, Vance's opponent Tim Walz swooped in to show us how donut ordering is done:

Holding two packages of whoopie pies!!!

Can we really be surprised he has trouble with knowing what things are?

This is the guy that put tampons in the boys' restrooms as governor of Minnesota after all.

But that's not all.

U.S. Senator Tina Smith of Minnesota decided to show her support by posting an old photo of her and Walz enjoying some local donuts.

Looks nice, right?

There's one small problem.

What is a ‘whoopie pie’?

I do, and I order a gross of donuts (sometimes more) almost every week for my church. Typical order:

2 dozen glazed with colored frosting
1 dozen glazed
1 dozen glazed with chocolate
1 dozen assorted chocolate doughnuts
1 dozen plain cake doughnuts
1 dozen cinnamon doughnuts
1 dozen cruellers
1 dozen Bavarian cream filled (round)
1 dozen crème filled long johns with and without chocolate frosting
1 dozen jelly (raspberry) (regular sugar, NOT powdered sugar)
1 dozen other assorted doughnuts

No lemon jelly donuts
No powdered sugar donuts (too messy)
No Buttermilk Bars/barras de suero de leche No Old Fashioned

I think whoopie pies are found more in the northeastern states. They are a pleasant pastry. If I remember right, they are either boughten or homemade chocolate cake-like with a cream filling.
