Every California-connected leftist I know constantly tells me the poopy-sidewalks, zombie drug users, car thefts, constant petty crime and violence we all hear about in SF is all “fake news.”

Someone should remind Ricky Pearsall it was all just bad luck

In a third world s-hole, wearing bling is an invitation to be robbed day or night.

Lesson for rookies, if you don’t yet have a posse, then you better keep a low profile.

The event should have been held near Santa Clara to begin with, why risk it with the season so close?

Last time I went to San Fran was right as the lockdowns started for a business deal. One of the guys flew in from Florida and had never been so he wanted to go. All of us who knew groaned but we went anyway. It looked as bad as the slums of India. It was gross.

A shame too. We use to visit family there and it was always nice. Now, I’d take my chances in Detroit. Less feces and needles on the ground.

I first visited San Francisco in the mid 90s. It was a dirty beggar and bum infested, comically overpriced, shithole then.

The last time I visited was 2006. It had not improved one bit from the mid 90s.

Now incredibly, its even worse.

I was absolutely shocked a while back when I saw some video of extended driving and street scenes in San Francisco from the 50s. It was clean. It was gorgeous. People were dressed nicely. There was no litter. No Graffiti. It looked like a paradise. It made it all the sadder remember what it has become.

The suspected robber was shot during a struggle with Pearsall and was also being treated at SF General, police said.

The suspect was caught.

Probably because he was shot and couldn’t get away.

I would go there on my lunch hour and sit and read Tom Clancy books in the late 80’s.
NEVER had any safety concerns .
WOW has San Francisco gone down hill

Tons of Democrats on the Webzone. Including every last Mod. I hope this wakes them up. It probably won’t. But it is the state of public safety in CA. This never, ever, ever, ever, ever should have happened. Deep down, you know it inside. You will never admit it. But it’s partially your fault.

Good old San Francisco. At least you can count on consistency.

I can’t wait to learn if the perp was an illegal immigrant from Venezuela or is a crazy homeless puke with 80 prior arrests out on a no-bail summons.

This is probably fake news.

It’s illegal to have and use a gun in public in California. So there’s that . . .

I thought the girl who had played his daughter was cute.

Worked in SF in the 70s 80s left in 90 for Texas. Never looked back.

Can’t vote them out until the next election.

The D’Alessandro crime family has locked down all the vote counting in Frisco.

Voting is futile.

NFL players are no joke for strength and reaction speed. Perp was an idiot. I only wish that the rookie had beaten the perp to a bloody, immobile pulp instead of taking a slug. That would have been a happy ending.

Amazing. A sports celeb out in public in the middle of the day doing fan PR and he gets shot in the chest by a violent thug, illegal alien, or crazy homeless puke.

I never thought I would say this, but I REALLY miss the 1970s.

He was probably tackled and restrained by the pro football player. They are big, strong, and physical. There is no way any perp was going to outrun a pro football player with a 4.41 time in the 40-yard dash. The perp never had a chance to win or escape short of killing the rookie immediately. He picked the wrong victim, by miles.
