Seems to me that all of FJB's executive orders could be rescinded by President Donald John Trump on Day One.

Live by the executive order, die by the executive order.

The article’s focus should be Joe’s illegal actions. It would be if it were Trump’s.

“The president’s use of executive orders was supposed to have been the solution to a closely divided and paralyzed Congress, especially as the 2024 race got underway.”

This is a remarkable statement. Under the constitution, it is supposed to be hard to implement new laws and policies. That is up to congress and if congress is evenly divided, that means there is no consensus in the county to have a bunch of radical new laws.

So it’s a “solution” to a problem that doesn’t exist. It’s not a problem that a radical administration cannot impose its will on the country where half of the country thinks its a terrible idea. It’s only a problem if you are a radical administration trying to have its way with the country regardless in the waning months of its power.

Politically we know that it easy to make an edict, like these politicized presidential directives, and it takes time for the courts to nullify them and they are doing that almost with all of biden's edicts.

By the time that happens, the major damage is done and it can't be put back in the bottle. Student loan forgiveness, relaxed voter registration and express lanes for illegal alien citizenship are classic examples.

Does the Congress have to actually pass ANY laws for the country to run? Or can it all be a series of non-stop continuing resolutions, occasional partial shutdowns, and executive orders?

Thank you for referencing that article E. Pluribus Unum.

"The president’s use of executive orders was supposed to have been the solution to a closely divided and paralyzed Congress [??? emphasis added], ..."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

So-called “divided and paralyzed Congress” translates to corrupt, constitutionally undefined uniparty that has pirated control of state and federal governments imo.

The main reason that we're seeing articles playing up (unconstitutional imo) executive orders as remedies for the corrupt Congress is this imo. Corrupt Congress has been letting renegade presidents like Obama and OBiden do Congress's dirty work for it by allowing corrupt presidents to oppress citizens with illegal executive orders based on stolen state powers when Congress should have impeached and removed these compromised presidents from office for making such executive orders.

The reality is that, since worthless career federal lawmakers and renegade states have repeatedly proven that they are enemies of the people imo, it is now up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to do the first MAJOR job in draining the swamp by effectively "impeaching and removing" ALL (exceptions?) state and federal lawmakers and executives in November.

In other words, it's now up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to support hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress, new state lawmakers too, not only so that he will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, but will support him to quickly finish draining the swamp.

Finally, let's not allow the anti-Trump media try to fade our memories of what we witnessed on July 13.
