Pinging to those from the previous threads. I'm still not sure how this one ended so high on this list, though it was big on the airwaves back in my hockey playing days.
Let me know if you’d like to be added or removed from the ping list!

I see I missed a couple of threads, allow me to catch up.
Keeping pace with your countdown, my #42 most played iTunes song is "Pancho And Lefty" by Emmylou Harris. This is from her Luxury Liner album in 1976, quite possibly her finest album (and she has had quite a few).
Emmylou Harris - Pancho & Lefty (1976)
A few years after this album, Merle Haggard & Willie Nelson would record their own version of "Pancho & Lefty" which is highly recommended. However, Emmylou has the best version in my opinion. This song was written by Townes Van Zandt by the way.
My countdown so far...
- #50 - Jack's Mannequin - The Lights And Buzz (2005)
- #49 - The Cars - It's All I Can Do (1979)
- #48 - Lobo - Me And You And A Dog Named Boo (1971)
- #47 - Zach Bryan - Oklahoma Smokeshow (2022)
- #46 - Norman Greenbaum - Spirit In The Sky (1970)
- #45 - Chris Isaak - Wicked Game (1989)
- #44 - Night - Hot Summer Nights (1979)
- #43 - Rocky Burnette - Tired Of Toein' The Line (1980)
- #42 - Emmylou Harris - Pancho And Lefty (1976)
