Djedfre looks more like an Egyptian name. That “Jed Fry” had me wondering. Wasn’t he one of the Beverly Hillbillies? Wait, that was Jed Clampett.

All the other structures were probably completed. The pyramids have roughly 89% of their mass below the halfway point of height, so the rate of rise tends to start out pretty slow.
Are you familiar with the unfinished pyramid of Zawyet El Aryan (aka Pyramid of Baka) and the mysterious vat that was buried under tons of stone blocks? It could’ve been the basis for a great horror novel.
