There are plenty of farmers that grow their crops the old fashioned way. But you won't find them at the supermarkets. I do not think even Whole Foods is as pure as they claim to be.

If you have a farmer's market near you, that is the way to go.

The French used to live primarily on bread. They got very upset when it became hard and expensive to get.
