Anything momentary can be easily interpreted positively or negatively, so I’ll leave it at that. What bothers me was the general concept of bringing an autistic person to a big noisy, dangerous place to grab the sympathy vote. I can understand a father proudly showing off his children, but both his emotionally/mentally challenged son and the brain-damaged Gabby Giffords should’ve been left out of the proceedings.
People will say the footage was cherry-picked/edited.

I’ve seen people bringing very small babies to these - both the RNC and the DNC. Very stupid to do.

Another eerie thing from me.
I mentioned yesterday here that I saw a dvd of the Dead Zone
the night before. I had never seen it before. Didn’t know it had any political content at all.
I said it made me remember how crucial a nominee for President can be in this dangerous world.
Now somebody references the Dead Zone for Walz. If something happens to the current nominee, imagine how horrifying a runaway Walz would be in office. Now that is horror.
If something happens before election day, would Walz automatically be their nominee? Neither would have been elected yet...

Think of the hapless voters. Prevented from having rivals to Biden on most state primaries. Biden won, and Kamala with zero delegates from voters. Then no Biden. Then possibly no Kamala. Followed by Chinese Communist uniforms and flags all over the place for Comrade Walz.
Not to mention Trump sentenced to prison time in September and many states disallowing him on ballots with the Supreme Court too timid to step in.

I had seen The Dead Zone years ago and when I saw how Trump reacted to his attempted assassination I thought how different the two events were.
They keep talking about ‘saving our democracy’ while violating it at every turn.
