I’ve seen a replica of the Cullinan diamond at the home of the founder’s granddaughter. It was just a glob of GRAYNESS.......NOTHING like this one. BEAUTIFUL!!

Eight year old Mbeki Cuthu and his six year old brother Kumba were working the mines early in the day when Kumba spotted a large shiny diamond in the wall where they had been scraping and digging for several hours. The light of the candle was barely enough to see what they had found but they were well experienced at working in near darkness for several years. Mbeki and Kumba enjoyed nearly a full hour of praise from their overseers before being told to get back to work.
