You don’t take mace to a gunfight. Especially one you are outnumbered. She was out of her league. The common civilian is highly unprepared to confront drug dealers especially in a city like Oakland. Better off with a RPG or a grenade. And the same people that sold the drugs probably have those for sale on the next corner.

Sounds like these ‘dealers’ were young - maybe didn’t realize just how criminal they were. Selling weed is on the low end of drug dealing.
That said, confronting drug dealers should be done when armed.
