You’re tripping if you want to visit this tourist hotspot. A Gen Z travel influencer who has ventured to 190 of the world’s 193 countries says Egypt is among the most overrated places on the planet.
Luca Pferdmenges, 22, made the bold claim in an interview with the Daily Mail on Saturday, with the declaration sure to dash the hopes of those who have long dreamed of seeing the pyramids and sailing down the Nile.
The German explorer has racked up 2.9 million TikTok followers and some serious air miles by filming travel videos around the globe, but he won’t be returning to the North African nation in a hurry.

LOL! Nailed it. I had a friend who went to Egypt. He said they don’t walk like Egyptians over there.
How does he afford to travel like this? I want to travel and take my daughter to see more of God’s great creation but I have a job and responsibilities that limit the amount of travel we do.
Went to Egypt in 2018 and enjoyed the trip. At that time the government was working hard to protect their tourist trade. Security was tight, traffic terrible, crowds manageable, and most of the people we encountered were friendly. My main complaint was the emphasis on sales, but people have to make a living.

Same. And anyplace where you are unlikely to encounter any other people. Deserts, prairie, tundras, frozen lakes...not the Amazon though. I don't want to go there.
Just today, I was watching a video on Egypt from two Youtubers who travel around the world, Kara and Nate, who have Dallas area ties. They are the most tolerant travelers I can imagine, but the need for constant tipping and everybody accosting them to sell items, offer camel rides, etc., seemed to be a bit too much for them!
My father was there in WW2. It was the same
It was in a cage when I saw it, too.
Same with Taj Mahal. Smells like camel $hit and surrounded with obnoxious brats selling worthless crap
Must be nice to be able to afford to travel worldwide and not have to go to a humdrum job 5 days a week.
Egypt? Hey, if you don't get gunned down, robbed, or raped during your visit, stop being a crybaby.
Not sure who whines more, this guy, or some of our fellow FReepers.
ROFLMAO
HawASS will be none too pleased, and that makes me SMILE!
So he's been to Times Square, too.
