Should we care?
Accepting oneself and avoiding a severely negative body image, to the point of mental illness, is important. I speak from experience after having been heavy. My body image is still ruined, even though the weight is gone - mostly due to excess skin still being present.
However, don’t expect the public to accept your medical bills after you wind up on dialysis from uncontrolled diabetes and high blood pressure. You did that sh¡t to yourself. You pay the price.

“Fat acceptance” is something they have to give themselves. What they desire is for other people to subjugate their separate viewpoints to these folks’ judgment.
“Acceptance” is right next to “tolerance” in the liberal playbook, and both mean a form of slavery.
Yes indeed. In fact some of them are manning motorized shopping carts because they are too fat to stand and push a cart.

These people — in most cases, likely tragic — may “need” acceptance, but they have no right to demand it.
If Commiela gets in power, they will be losing weight quickly.
Food price controls will fix the obesity problem.
BTW — what does being fat have to do with colonization?
They ARE colonizing! They’re invading the territory of other people, especially in passenger seats on Airplanes!
