Here's a tip for you, LAT, Kamala has a campaign website! If she really wants to "define her image" you would think she'd start there, right? She can spell out in black and white exactly who she is and what she believes in. I think they call it a "campaign platform".

Or she could hold a press conference and lay it all out orally, and respond to questions to clarify her goals and beliefs.

But she won't. Now why do you suppose that is?
