The real problem is it demonstrates undeniable facts that all the Trump haters display. 1) They have no real understanding about how an economy works. So things like a “Green new deal” and allowing manufacturing to move out seem ‘rational’. China, India, and Indonesia don’t care, and they continue to produce CO2 anyway, take all of the manufacturing, destroy our economy and future. They just say ‘Print more money’. 2) They don’t understand production, products, costs, labor. It’s almost like they have never actually run a business. 3) They play to much into liberal ‘groupthink’ and grasp at excuses. Here is the greatest of examples, that corporations are just raising prices to hurt people. Not the explanation that the costs of making products has skyrocketed like Fuel, Labor, Energy...just that they are rising prices to ‘make profit’. Never do the Democrats question if ‘inflation’ is actually under control or just the statistic is under control because they changed the parameters. Never do Democrats ask if Biden/Harris (Obama-Biden-Harris) policies have resulted in to much government spending that devalued the currency creating a overburdensome new tax. Nope, it’s always ‘greedy corporations’ NEVER is it greedy government or greedy lazy people. They want freedom and Constitutional rights, but no Responsibility.

I am not shocked by Harris statements, it a window into the soul of Democrats, the Democratic party, the Fascism and Socialism that they propose, and the propaganda that they believe. It’s a fundamental difference between liberals and conservatives, one that probably has the best chance of leading to civil conflict.

Sorry about the ‘rant’ but it is the difference.

That certainly describes many young “progressives”. But the Democrat friends I referred to earlier are older, blue dog types. They put out the flag on holidays. They believe in hard work and honest living. Some are proud military veterans.

And they also lap up everything the mainstream media tells them.

I will not demonize those people. It would serve no purpose. Instead, I will patiently wait for an opening to nudge them in the right direction.

And as I noted earlier, they might have to experience some pain for that opening to occur. Hyperinflation, out of control crime, etc.

After all, Reagan and Trump were both once Democrats. So I suppose there’s hope for my Democrat friends.

To recover the costs of delivering the goods plus enough income to pay your employees, including yourself, is not gouging.

That's exactly what communists do. They enact price controls. The businesses cut and cut until quantity and quality both dwindle. The business tries to shut down. Government forces them to stay open. All incentive to provide quality service disappears. Business and the industry it supports collapses. Ruined business owner mysteriously disappears. Government nationalizes and takes it over. Remaining entities are staffed by corrupt up and coming party members. People starve.

Americans used to be against that.
