Here's video proof that Ta’Kiya Young tried to run over a police officer with her car.
Why are people defending her?
Why are people angry at the police officer for defending himself?

Sadly, It is slowly being decriminalized for blacks to commit ANY crime including murder. ESPECIALLY when the victim is white.
Hard to do when there are no license plates on the car.
Don't necessarily disagree with you on this one but the context is important here.
This woman was part of organized theft ring that has been running wild in the area. The car she was driving did not have a license plate to take a plate number from.
In that community, driving a car without a plate is sign that the car is stolen and being used in illegal activities - which it was.
Was shooting an appropriate response - I'm not sure as was not there. There certainly is cause but I'm not sure the cause justifies a fatal shooting. I personally would not have taken a shot and most of my LEO friends would not either.
Please provide the link or reference to your claim that the policeman was convicted.
An August 13, 2024, article only refers to Montgomery County, OH, Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck Jr. charging the policeman with murder. One hopes that a more sentient jury will find him not guilty of such insane charges.
Police didn’t get the memo that the “chosen” can do whatever they want.
Even you could have figured that out.
Unless you just shot your mouth off before thinking.
You are correct, only charged with murder. I misread statements from family and others who said the police officer “should be” and “will be” convicted.
shoot out the tire then.
two of them
all four of them.
the only thing this killer could do to keep her there was kill her.
not rocket science, and totally overkill... akin to not getting into a high speed chase.
Why? Would it really do any good?
She turned the wheel to the right, she did not try to “run over” the officer. She certainly had the opportunity to do so, if that was her intent.
The officer got bumped by the car as she tried to get away, and was not injured at all.
This was an over-reaction caused by over-training.
The cops shut down what could have been a epic high speed chase!!
Baloney. She got what she deserved.
That involves "flashing the guns."
Try again.
Fighting for rights means hurting or perhaps killing a police officer.
Look, the easiest thing is to obey the officer and everyone is at peace.
Never fight the cops on the street. Complyin’ means not dyin’.
I have worked retail security and loss prevention for quiet a while now... Had there not been a police officer anywhere in the parking lot, and her car was completely unoccupied, I could have still told you that a shoplifting incident was about to take place. If you watch the full video, you will notice that the vehicle has no license plate. It is backed into a handicap spot so as to allow quick escape while keeping the vehicle as close as possible to the door of the building. This is standard operating procedure for retail shoplifting. She was caught, and attempted to use a 4,000 pound weapon to escape. She was more than happy to try and run over the officer. She learned a hard lesson, even if she only retained it for a very short while.
If folks could only witness the callous sense of entitlement that is exhibited by most of today’s shoplifting crews, they would be shocked. I have reached the point where I have zero sympathy for them...
Because it’s a war of extermination.
Well, yes, but that's not an excuse to kill someone.
baton. tire valve. deflated tire. baton windshield.
i already posted let her go apprehend later...
your shoot to kill shows your authoritarian dick to torial bent.
be gone. toady.
