Don't necessarily disagree with you on this one but the context is important here.
This woman was part of organized theft ring that has been running wild in the area. The car she was driving did not have a license plate to take a plate number from.
In that community, driving a car without a plate is sign that the car is stolen and being used in illegal activities - which it was.
Was shooting an appropriate response - I'm not sure as was not there. There certainly is cause but I'm not sure the cause justifies a fatal shooting. I personally would not have taken a shot and most of my LEO friends would not either.
I’m not an LEO, just a private citizen but when somebody aims a 2000 or 3000 pound bullet at me I’m going to fire back!
Anybody who thinks an automobile is not a LETHAL WEAPON is just plain STUPID!
In fact there are several examples of vehicles being used as
ASSAULT WEAPONS.
