Controversial Algerian boxer Imane Khelif was apparently switched out at the last moment from carrying her nation's flag at Sunday night's Olympics closing ceremony.
It had been reported earlier that Khelif, who won gold in women's boxing amid a much-publicised gender row, had been selected to carry the flag of Algeria at the glittering final ceremony at the Stade de France in Paris.
However the honour went to gold medal gymnast Kaylia Nemour and bronze-winning track star Djamel Sedjati instead, as Khelif still made an appearance as part of the wider team.
Khelif grinned widely as she held up her gold medal to the cameras.
The exact reason for the change at the eleventh hour has not been made clear, however the Algerian Olympic Committee dismissed any speculation over the decision.

I’ve seen several suggestions that Khelif has Swyer syndrome, which is characterized by myriad anomalies including female external genitalia (but not female breasts). .
Make of that what you will, but perhaps we need to refocus the criticism. The underlying problem is not Khelif’s condition per se, which can be rationally discussed and adjudicated on the merits. The larger problem is the refusal of Khelif and the IOC to be open about what could be a tough call on an intersex condition.
The IOC has zero credibility on such matters. It is all in on the whole gender bending agenda, including the acceptance of trans people into women’s competitions. If the IOC was honest, most of the furor would disappear.

Most likely it is Morris Syndrome (Complete androgen insensitivity syndrome) rather than Swyer. People with Morris have a male karyotype (46, XY) and male gonads, but their external sex characteristics are typically female with vulva and vagina. They don't have a uterus, their testes are undescended, and they don't menstruate. Because of their testosterone, they are muscular.

I hadn’t heard of Morris Syndrome, but I do know that DSD’s come in a bewildering variety of forms. They are what they are. But the point remains: the governing bodies of athletics need to be honest about what is going on. The left wants things kept in a state of imprecision and confusion because it is trying to advance parts of its agenda under false flags.

-it can be obstructed development and lack of closure of the perineum.
