Even the truck’s identifying features, such as license plates and VIN, were unrecognizable among the char. All that was left of the vehicles occupant was a tar like material.

What I can’t find out is if this was a front impact crash or a bottom scrape. They talk about a culvert, then don’t explain what that means. 19 out of 20 times you are going to survive a major bottom scrape in an ICE car. I would not place bets on your chances in an EV.
