Russia was “reserved” with what they were willing to give Iran regards arms in the past.
They were hesitant to give Iran certain air defense, anti-ship, longer range and hyper-sonic missiles. All things Iran wants and Russia has.
As Russia’s war industrial complex ramps up, expect Russia to be far more liberal in what they are willing to give to Iran.
On this last major Russian delagation visit, the lead for the Russians (right behind Shoigu) was basically the person responsible for their arms exports.
This was very foreseeable and frankly deserved. We’re arming the enemies of Russia, so Russia will arm our enemies.

As has both Russia and China over the decades.
So what? Thanks to modern tech, hiding such things is far more difficult.
Our side hasn’t exactly been providing our latest and greatest. That can change as well.
