The Paris Olympics are engulfed in controversy after Algerian boxer Imane Khelif caused Italy’s Angela Carini to quit just 46 seconds into their preliminary match on Thursday, but Khelif’s next opponent is undaunted.
Anna Luca Hamori, the first Hungarian Olympic boxer, faces Khelif in the quarterfinals Saturday and expressed that she has no fear.
Khelif’s Olympics entry has become a hot story after she was disqualified at the 2023 world championships “after her elevated levels of testosterone failed to meet the eligibility criteria,” according to the International Olympics Committee (IOC) database.
“I’m not scared,” Hamori told reporters. “I don’t care about the press story and social media. If she or he is a man, it will be a bigger victory for me if I win.”
An IOC spokesperson previously said Khelif is eligible for the Olympics as her passport says that she is a woman.
The same standard applied to Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting, who was also disqualified from the 2023 World Championship.

Really? Why?
Maybe this will walking back their stupidity like they did after the insult of the opening ceremonies.
If I heard correctly the Biden/Harris Administration signed into law today a change in the law enacted to give women equal access to sports. Now men who identify as women have the right to compete as women.
Doesn't show up when googled yet.
Exactly what I think should happen!
Kick the dude in his tiny little testicles.
I was walking by the TV and it mentioned that Algeria filed a complaint but that may have been the previous boxing group.
Oh Anna, welcome to another episode of “**** Around and Find Out”.
Kick him in the groin HARD!
Take the forfeit.
My comment here is intended to be wider than just the Olympics, but it fits for the Olympics as well:
Women in the work place ... don't get the raises, don't get the promotions, don't get the nice office, don't get the awards, don't get the respect because THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES.
Being bitchy and engaging in social bullying and gossip is not at all the same thing -- but that seems to be all they can manage. Stand up for yourself, take the small losses but establish boundaries and let people know: YOU CAN'T TREAT ME LIKE THAT.
Men do it all the time. Females just can't. Men walk all over them. And men SHOULD. If you refuse to stand up for yourself, then you get what you get. Sucker.
the tranny
*******************
He/she is not a tranny. They have a birth defect. That said, he/she should not be fighting women.
Hit some very hard low blows. Right in the onions.
This is the ultimate Muslim fantasy. A man beating the snot out of a white infidel woman. All that’s missing is him raping her on the mat.
“I think I just heard the Algerian has been disqualified”
That was for the 2023 WBC.
I would tell the Olympic committee and this freak, F you, men don’t belong in women’s sports!🖕
Didn't the East Germans get stopped trying to do that in the early '70's?
“ According to International Boxing Association (IBA) president Umar Kremlev, DNA testing of Khelif and other athletes “proved they had XY chromosomes and were thus excluded from the sports events”, however, these supposed results were never published”

THAT’S A MAN, BABY!
That would slow “her” male body (if “she” hasn’t been castrated) down for a round. “She” would just cling and hold for one round. Then “she” could kill “her” female opponent.
Better yet, kick “her” once, cling for the first round, then at beginning of second round kick “her” again...then quit...”no mas, baby”
“Can’t spell Imane without ‘man’”
Can’t spell woman without ‘man’
Last I heard his chromosomes are XY, and he has high enough levels of testosterone that he was disqualified last year. That's a male, pronoun should be "he". I'd only grant "they" if the chromosomes were unknown.
He may be, as you say, a genetically defective male. But that doesn't make him a female. Pretending to be female is a falsehood that enables him to beat up real women. Shameful, IMO.
Please note: I have no objection whatsoever to creating multiple categories for trans, hermaphroditic, and otherwise non-normal contestants. Let them compete among themselves and win trophies honestly.
