One of my former coworkers who was the biggest music aficionado I’ve known described the Allman Brothers as the best band he ever heard. He always used to tell me: “Live performances are where bands show their true talent.”

Might well be the best performance ever at the Filmore.
I just saw them 10 days ago. They gave an incredible performance with Reasons.
However, I will say that I think they were better two years ago. I think they play to the crowd they’re performing for.
Last time they opened for Santana, and they were wildly wonderful.
This year, they opened for Chicago, and it was definitely more subdued.
I love them, though. They’re nothing short of amazing!
