Very interesting question. Many banks are eeevil so would likely comply.
I’m not sure that they’re actually using these people’s actual accounts. They may just be making the donations with these people’s names added as the donor, so that they can give a ton more money while hiding the real source.
Say Soros wants to donate $1 million to the DNC but wants it to be untraceable. He can just give $5 in the names of 200,000 people and nobody will know that it’s from him.
