She can do contract work or be a staff attorney in someone else’s law office, and get assignments that are commensurate with her skills.
Not exactly the same thing but…
A teacher at a local high school near us, was awarded teacher of the year for having come up with an algebra curriculum for her special needs math students. The students had taken the minimum math that their curriculum required, but they asked her what they could do to learn more. They could indeed keep learning, when the teacher adapted her approach. some people may have more potential than we realize it first.
