There’s been a lot of discussion and speculation that perhaps divine providence played a role in Trump’s surviving his attempted assassination. Though I’m not qualified to speak to that in a religious context, I can imagine that the scenario might have looked something like this.

Unquestionably divine. Trump is anointed, imo, for the purpose he has been announced. It is the only way to explain everything that has happened and why he has overcome.
IMO, his purpose is to give us time to get our affairs in order for what is coming.
