He has kids recreate different things. Many seem political in nature but since I don’t speak the language I really don’t know.
That doesn’t change the fact that they are trying to be factual in their recreation including the SS head swivel.

Nahhh. Social Media has no effect on people. Granted, if people today saw me playing "Army" when I was 7 years old, they would have a stroke. And they might view it in much the same way I viewed these kids.

My brother and his wife once had custody of nine kids ranging from about four years old up to 16 that had been taken away from their mother who was not mentally capable of taking care of them. (Her husband was a Greek guy who gave her all those kids, and then absconded with any money they had and fled to Greece, never to be seen again.
They all had names from Greek mythology.
One day, while visiting my brother and his wife, I was watching the kids in the big open driveway down below, and there was something familiar about their behavior...I couldn’t put my fingers on it, but they were all running around, twirling with their arms out, then...I realized what it was:
They were, all of them, re-enacting Monty Python and The Holy Grail where they did the “Spamalot” song!!!!
I nearly fell over laughing.

All these years, when I thought about it, I thought it actually did somehow shoot some plastic bullets, but I thought it had to be my imagination, and I was mis-remembering it, but...it did!

I used to live on bases in the Pacific, and today, I wonder what those Marines who were currently serving in Vietnam must have thought of us as we ran around, throwing ourselves on the ground as we used our voices to make gunfire sounds, and then, getting hit, going into our wounded death throes, giving off faux screams of agony with the inevitable “I’m hit! CORPSMAN! CORPSMAAAAAAN!”
They must have been shaking their heads...
It was totally bizarre, but something about fascinated me, tickled me, and disgusted me all at the same time.
