After their years-long demonization of Trump supporters and conservatives, now they’re telling us to “cool” it down and be understanding.
From Variety:
President Joe Biden made an earnest plea for Americans to tone down the political rhetoric and pull together as a nation in the aftermath of Saturday’s shocking assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, Biden’s Republican presidential rival in November.
‘We cannot, we must not go down this road in America. The political rhetoric in this country has gotten very heated,’ Biden said in a rare Oval Office address that aired live across multiple networks at 8 p.m. ET. ‘It’s time to cool it down.’
Were the events of Saturday really all that “shocking” as the leftwing media says?
For eight years, the media and other Democrats have set out to destroy Trump with lies. They have called him a dictator, an authoritarian, and a fascist. They have continued to compare him to Adolf Hitler, and labeled him a Nazi; just last month, The New Republic repurposed a 1932 Hitler campaign campaign poster, saying Trump was “damn close enough” and “we’d better fight” his election:

We chose the cover image, based on a well-known 1932 Hitler campaign poster, for a precise reason: that anyone transported back to 1932 Germany could very, very easily have explained away Herr Hitler’s excesses and been persuaded that his critics were going overboard. After all, he spent 1932 campaigning, negotiating, doing interviews—being a mostly normal politician. But he and his people vowed all along that they would use the tools of democracy to destroy it, and it was only after he was given power that Germany saw his movement’s full face.
Today, we at The New Republic think we can spend this election year in one of two ways. We can spend it debating whether Trump meets the nine or 17 points that define fascism. Or we can spend it saying, “He’s damn close enough, and we’d better fight.”
I hope Joe Bi-Dung was looking in the mirror when he made this statement.
The only thing I want to hear out of that decrepit cesspool of a mouth of his is “I resign”.
Biden’s administration has been the realization of Obama’s statement about him, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to (bleep) things up”.

Go screw yourself. You’re the ones who have been spewing heated rhetoric from the start.
The average TDS sufferer believes that if Trump can be disposed of in some satisfying way—and they came so close on Saturday!—that life will be perfect.
They don’t stop to consider the hell their utopia will unleash—first from Trump supporters— but more importantly how they will suffer at the hands of their own beloved leaders.
It’s really quite an amazing suspension of reality.
GFY AHOLE!
”This is the most consequential election of our lifetimes, and with Donald Trump’s decision today to add J.D. Vance to the Republican ticket, the stakes of this election just got even higher.
“J.D. Vance embodies MAGA – with an out-of-touch extreme agenda and plans to help Trump force his Project 2025 agenda on the American people.
“Vance has championed and enabled Trump’s worst policies for years – from a national abortion ban, to whitewashing January 6, to railing against Social Security and Medicare.
“Let’s be clear: A Trump-Vance ticket would undermine our democracy, our freedoms, and our future. There is so much on the line, and it’s more important than ever that we reelect President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris this November.”

Trump should make better us of his Jumbotron.
Collect every clip of Biden and his surrogates in the MSM spewing hateful rhetoric that foments and inflames people to end Trump’s life. Let it run for a half hour. Buy TV ads on left-wing stations if they’d sell the time — which they probably wouldn’t. Billboards at busy intersections with long traffic lights would be nice if they had audio — which they don’t.
...clears throat...
“He was already President!!!!!!!!”
The argument makes even LESS sense when one thinks about it for 1 second. He acted in no such way when He was POTUS.
And the calls for non-violence are good....even though I believe maybe 10 percent of dems believe it when they say it.
But there will come a point where an open border can no longer be.
And that a sitting president using the various agencies as weapons agaist his enemies cannot be.
That pushing for kids to change “genders” cannot be.
This isn’t dems wanting to raise taxes.
This is them having gone Completely Mad and wanting to take everyone with them.
It cannot stand a whole lot longer.
The New Republic are filthy liars.
Mr Biden can you suggest examples of things you said that could use cooling down?
Chomo Joe starts a fire and screams for someone else to put it out.
After this one is out he will start another.
Time to investigate, arrest those whose rhetoric caused this and let everyone know that whoever does it again will also be arrested. Then, it is time to investigate the SS, at the very least fire Kimberly Cheatle and possibly fire the field supervisor for the rally. No justice, no peace. I mean every word I wrote. Come talk to me.
They’re already starting it again. They can not stop.
This, from the guy who can’t open his mouth without blaming Trump, lying about Trump or comparing him to Hitler
An ironic thing to say. And Brandon probably does not even see it.
“It’s time to put Trump in the bullseye,” Biden said on that call, a recording of which was obtained by CNN.
