With a bit of spray paint, you could edit your “Miss Me Yet?” flag to say “Missed Me!” with a red ear.
You’ll get props for the “personal hand editing”.

I would suggest some acrylic paint and a paintbrush. You’ll get much better control.
I have tried acrylic paint on fabric with good results. Looks good even after washing. If you want to be sure, do a test on a small corner of the flag to see how it goes, if it lasts through rain/washing.
