I never really followed Dr. Ruth, but I don’t get the venom directed toward her on this forum. It didn’t seem like she advocated “free love” or infidelity.

I sometimes watched her show when nothing else was on. I remember a call she got from a guy whose girlfriend was pregnant. then, at a party, her mother took him into the bedroom, and she got pregnant. Dr. Ruth had no idea what to tell him

Dr. Ruth’s entire family was murdered in the Holocaust. Her mother and grandmother sent her from Nazi Germany to Switzerland so she could survive. She ended up going to Mandatory Palestine, and was trained as a sniper. RIP
