Let’s put aside the crumbling ruins of the Democratic Party to celebrate, by making the rubble bounce, the total destruction of any residual credibility in the regime media. The regime media minions called in a napalm airstrike on their own position, and the fireball is rising. It’s beautiful, man.
For the last four years, the regime media has obediently defended Joe Biden against accurate observations by outsider media that he was a senile, decrepit, corrupt, old, perverted weirdo. This is because it didn’t matter to them that he was a senile, decrepit, corrupt, old, perverted weirdo. All that was fine. The regime media was perfectly happy with him being a senile, decrepit, corrupt, old, perverted weirdo as long as he wasn’t Donald Trump. So they either lied about it or did not do their purported job competently. Either way, they suck, and their sucking cannot and will not be hidden or excused.
(snip)
What the regime media is going to find is its already limited credibility even more hamstrung, and that’s great because the regime media has been a potent weapon in the Democrat arsenal. Normal people just going through their day watching “Good Morning America” or “The View” or any of those other idiotic shows did not realize that they were actually being wet down by an unfiltered fire hose of leftist propaganda. The leftist messaging was hidden behind a haze of objectivity and delivered by nice ladies and men who pretended not to have an agenda when they totally had an agenda. But now, normal people know that these folks are liars. They know that they have been pulling an okey-doke. They know that the regime media has been treating them like idiots, and, hopefully, they are offended.

Bye bye New York Times - the old Gray Whore. Bye bye Washington Post stenographers for corrupt disgruntled 'intelligence' weirdos. Bye bye CNN and MSNBC and CBS, NBC, and ABC - your credibility set sail and it's not coming back anytime soon.
"Let’s put aside the crumbling ruins of the Democratic Party [??? emphasis added] to celebrate, ..."
Respectfully to Mr. Schlichter, the author of the referenced article, we need to include worthless elite Republicans in the crumbling ruins of Democratic party and effectively “impeach and remove” the Constitution-ignoring uniparty in November.
More specifically, most actions and policies, especially taxing and spending, of today's very corrupt federal government are unconstitutional imo. Yet we don't see Republican lawmakers making an effort lifting a finger to remind Democrats of the federal government's constitutionally limited powers, especially especially unconstitutional taxing and spending facilitated by Congress' ongoing abuse of its repealable 16th Amendment powers (direct taxes).
"16th Amendment : The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived [emphasis added], without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
“If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).
"Article I, Section 9, Clause 7: No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by [reasonably constitutionally justifiable] Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time [emphasis added]."
The congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, a constitutional lawmaker, had clarified the federal government's constitutionally limited powers as follows.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
“Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves [emphasis added]. It seems to be the law of our general nature.” - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)
Pelosi: "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." (non-FR; 6 sec.)
Democrats [and RINOs] Are Terrified Of An Educated And Informed Public (3.12.23)
Patriots need to support hopeful Trump 47 with new, Constitution-respecting Congress and state legislatures, not only so that he won't be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, but will also support him to quickly finish draining the swamp.
I get sick of hearing that something bad is going to happen to the media. No it isn't. Certainly not anything quite so bad as they deserve.
These people manipulate elections. They *RIG* elections by lying to the public and causing them to vote for the worst people.
The tragedy of Afghanistan is their doing. Everything their fake rigged election President does is *THEIR FAULT*.
The media people need to go to prison. Rachel Maddow, needs to go to prison. George Stephanopolous needs to go to prison. They are complicit in criminal activity from their efforts to help steal the election.
The scales don't balance until the media-liars actually get some suffering equivalent to the suffering they caused.
No, the media isn't "toast." It's just slightly annoyed. I want to see them a whole lot more discomforted than that.
And they are still a threat to the rest of us.
Ping to BroJoeK.
Exactly what happened to the history of the Civil War.
Nobody realizes how much propaganda they are fed to make them believe things were a certain way, when they were not actually that way.
I’m so old I remember a time when “journalistic integrity” wasn’t - necessarily - a contradiction in terms.
IMO- THE MEDIA HAS COMMITTED SLOW & DEFINITE SUICIDE.
WHO WILL EVER BELIEVE THEM AGAIN
Personally, I think that the demise of the liberal MSM is much more pronounced. It has taken a while, but if you look at the layoffs announced at the New York Slime, CNN, and other liberal MSM venues, it will become obvious that they do not have a business model that financially supports their liberal propaganda. This is going to result in a large number of “liberal journalists” having to get “real jobs” compete in the real world, where they will be judged on performance and knowledge not on their ability to create propaganda
“ The regime media was perfectly happy with him being a senile, decrepit, corrupt, old, perverted weirdo as long as he wasn’t Donald Trump”
The fake media isn’t much different look at all the corrupt libtard perverts at CNN
Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post. He’s not making money with it.
The legacy media has long given up any interest in credibility.
Yes, way too optimistic. Lots of people want to be lied to.
Anyone with 1/2 a brain already know the media ALWAYS lies!

Good Jefferson quote, Nateman. He hated the propaganda and lies of newspapers. And yet, Jefferson also saw great value in newspapers:
Fifty years later, Ralph Waldo Emerson observed in his Essays:
With such an ignorant and deceivable majority, States would soon run to ruin, but that there are limitations, beyond which the folly and ambition of governors cannot go.
Things have their laws, as well as men; and things refuse to be trifled with. Property will be protected. Corn will not grow, unless it is planted and manured; but the farmer will not plant or hoe it, unless the chances are a hundred to one, that he will cut and harvest it.
Under any forms, persons and property must and will have their just sway. And the attributes of a person, his wit and his moral energy, will exercise, under any law or extinguishing tyranny, their proper force, -- if not overtly, then covertly; if not for the law, then against it; with right, or by might.
But in the modern era where television news people can aspire to become actors and actresses, it's hard to find a film that criticizes the media.
Then along came, All the President's Men, which made heroes out of Bernstein and Woodward, the journalists who took down Richard Nixon. That movie excited a generation of liberal art students to get journalism degrees.
I don't criticize the zeal to become watchdogs over government. That's a good thing. The trouble is it became a very one-sided watch-doggery.
Turns out, Woodward and Bernstein were NOT the dogged reporters and investigators they were painted out to be.
Instead, the "Deep Throat" informant who supplied all the details was Mark Felt, Deputy FBI Director who hated Richard Nixon for not hiring Felt to replace J Edgar Hoover as the FBI Director. In short, Felt fed all the Watergate information to the Washington Post on a silver platter.
Fast forward a few decades and the corruption of the media has grown deeper and deeper -- to the point where reporters shut their lips and deny that our President's mental faculties have significantly declined.
And now that it appears Biden will not be replaced, one week of announcing Biden.s SUDDEN mental lapse is buried so that non-stop MSM attacks on Trump can dutifully resume. They are now off the hook. "Don't blame us!", they say. How deceitful.
Main stream, Stalinist journalists are DESTROYING America.
“I give up.”
A good friend of mine describes himself as “left of center”. The reality is, he’s a solid leftist and doesn’t even know it. You described him perfectly. He consumes mainstream media, hides behind the cover of they’re all the same, and casts doubts about things from the “right wing media”, (FOX).
I need Trump to win so we can delay the fall of this country for 4 years. I’m well into the back 9 of life, so a 4 year reprieve is big.
I’m right where you are. I just want a few years reprieve.
From Cleveland...Go Browns!
I refer to “Independents” as “Arrogant Liberals”...ha
