yea probably. But it’s a nice hammer against “moderate” Democrats.
It’s not illegals going to polls to vote that I’m (nor anyone else not cheating) worry about.
It is illegal alien’s data being entered into a voter registration database and using a mail in ballot for that entry that I worry about. Since citizenship data is not part of the voter registration data, there’s no way to know, once an entry exists.
It is possible that millions of illegal alien entries are already entered into various state databases, where their citizen information cannot be legally stored.
All the Republican bill would do is add that field to each record (like, US Citizen Status—checked or empty; yes or no, etc).
so sign the bill anyway
If it’s so rare then why not pass it?
If noncitizens voting is so rare, then let the bill pass. It won’t make any difference, right?
“ It is illegal alien’s data being entered into a voter registration database and using a mail in ballot for that entry that I worry about. Since citizenship data is not part of the voter registration data, there’s no way to know, once an entry exists.”
Why then don’t the Republicans incorporate that into the bill making that action punishable by categorizing it as a felony or an act of insurrection. Why can’t they get the demoncrats on record as opposing such a bill to prevent the insurrection they claimed happened on January 6th? Can’t let the demoncrats outsmart us.
The fix here is misdirection. Yeah we jump up and down about the illegal voting. The real danger is the mail boxes and mail in votes. Last election, Trump up in the important states at midnight. Then comes the vote count stop. Then all of a sudden a few million all Bidet votes are found.
If Many and Joseph could get to Bethlehem for the census count without an autobahn to get them there, surely with our current road system, voters can get to the polling places withing a few weeks as most states allow. If not, there are absentee votes available.
If possible
That being said, they gotta get the narrative out there in case President Trump wins again
And so, it’s out there
Russia!
Russia!
Russia!
Indeed, they did.
That is why democrats from Biden down are against this bill.
“DeKalb led the state’s counties with the most attempts to register by noncitizens, according to Raffensperger’s office, with 345, followed by Fulton with 275, and 221 from Gwinnett.”

Joe wants to make sure all the Illegal Alien colonies can “vote” at least once so they can pull his chestnuts out of the fire. They’ve just about the American states outnumbered.
What ever happened to politicians who finish their term then go away and STFU??
“Federal law has been interpreted to prohibit states from checking to see if you’re a citizen even though, technically, the law says you must be a citizen,”
It is the job of Congress to make sure as practical that US law can be uniformly interpreted without doubt to those who must deal with it. And Joe’s job to let it do so.
States should be required to audit, clean up and certify the voter rolls every two years and before a federal election. I’ve heard people refer to it as “Sarbanes -Oxley for election integrity.” Any state that fails to comply or issues faulty certifications should have the state election officials fined and/or jailed.
Joe Biden telling the truth is extraordinarily rare.
a single vote can make a big difference. In fact, there have been more than a dozen races decided by a single vote or ending in a tie over the last 20 years.
2018: The Democratic primary for Baltimore County executive in July was decided by just 17 votes.
2017: A Virginia House of Delegates race ended in a tie out of more than 23,000 votes cast. The tie was broken by pulling a name, placed in a film canister, out of a bowl. Republican David Yancey was declared the winner. The result was heightened by the fact that the win gave Republicans control of the state House by a single seat.
2016: A Vermont state Senate Democratic primary was determined by a single vote out of more than 7,400 cast.
2008: In the U.S. Senate race, Democrat Al Franken defeated Republican Norm Coleman by just 312 votes out of almost 2.9 million votes cast. Franken’s win gave Democrats a 60-vote supermajority in the Senate.
2004: A special election in Radford, Va., for commonwealth’s attorney was decided by one vote.
1994: A Wyoming state House seat ended in a 1,941-to-1,941 tie on Election Day. The tie was broken, live on NBC’s Today show, with the secretary of state pulling a pingpong ball with the winning candidate’s name on it out of the governor’s hat. The winner went on to become speaker of the state House.
1991: A Virginia state House seat was determined by one vote out of almost 13,000 cast.
In the 19th century, there were even a few U.S. House races that were determined by a single vote:
1882: VA-1: Robert M. Mayo defeated Democrat George T. Garrison, 10,505 to 10,504.
1854: IL-7: Democrat James C. Allen beat Republican William B. Archer, 8,452 to 8,451.
1847: IN-6: Whig candidate George G. Dunn defeated Democratic candidate David M. Dobson, 7,455 to 7,454.
1847: VA-3: Whig Thomas S.Flournoy won 650 to 649
1829: KY-2: Jackson Democrat Nicholas Coleman defeated National Republican Adam Beatty, 2,520 to 2,519.
Of course, none of those is to mention the 537-vote margin that George W. Bush won Florida by in the 2000 presidential election

Bingo!
Those unable to understand that also likely do not understand what the Pelosi-Dem phony Jan 6 "insurrection" was all about.
That Jan 6 of course was the date of the Joint Session convened for the sole purpose of accepting the electoral votes from the various states relative to selection of our next president.
That was the time for Congress to meet, consider and accept or reject votes on the basis of irregularities or corruption. Instead, we got chaos, confusion, coercion and a confused Pence.
Blatantly ignoring at the next Joint Session, the federal statute now of record passed by an earlier Congress that requires voters to be citizens ought to justify rejection of reckless states who do not verify U.S. citizenship.
I.e., such contrary acts of state official who have sworn to uphold federal laws should not be honored.
why limit voting to aliens who’ve somehow managed to get into USA?
why not allow every Communist Chinese and Arab and Iranian to vote in USA elections from home on their iphone? It would save a whole lot of jet fuel and reduce ozone layer depletion
