A White House staffer who has worked closely with President Joe Biden for years has revealed how the commander-in-chief's mental acuity has seemingly declined.
The senior White House official who worked with the Biden during his presidency, vice presidency and 2020 campaign told the New York Times he no longer believes the 81-year-old has what it takes to defeat Trump.
That official, who declined to be named so he could speak openly, said the president has shown more and more signs of his age in recent months - speaking more slowly, haltingly and quietly.
Biden has also appeared more fatigued in private, the staffer said, concluding that he should not continue to seek re-election.
Others in Biden's inner circle have noted that he seems to trail off mid-sentence and freeze in public.
Last month, the president apparently froze at a Juneteenth White House celebration.
He was seen staring blankly ahead as Vice President Kamala Harris danced beside him. In a speech at the event, he also seemed to slur his words.
Less than a week later, Biden again stopped abruptly at a fundraiser in Los Angeles, staring blankly over the crowd for several seconds.
But a White House representative dismissed reports of a frozen reaction to DailyMail.com as 'fakes' and 'lies,' explaining his reaction was simply 'taking in an applauding crowd for a few seconds.'
In more recent days, donors were left stunned when Biden described a French cemetery in Normandy as 'Italian' at a fundraiser in the Hamptons, insiders told the Washington Post.
When Biden later made an appearance at the New Jersey governor's private villa, sources said he spoke so softly that a crowd of 50 people had to crane their necks to hear him speak from a teleprompter.

Over and over he has done the exact wrong thing when it’s obvious to everyone else what the right thing is to do.
The guy won’t listen to anybody.....mix that with being a freakin’ stubborn mean old man and there is absolutely NO WAY he leaves on his own.
He hasn’t got the character for that.

The presidential debate last week revealed an embarrassing fact about the American political system: We are all low-information voters. No matter how diligently any of us might keep up with the news, we don’t have access to basic data on the physical, cognitive and mental health of the people we’re electing to lead us. That could change if all presidential candidates were required to undergo an exam by an independent panel of physicians and reveal the results to voters.
Biden’s confused, sometimes incoherent debate performance last week unleashed a flurry of speculation on social and mainstream media. Aides, associates and foreign leaders who’ve had close contact told reporters that alarming lapses had become more frequent over the last two years - and that on recent trips to Europe there were moments of “sharpness ... mixed with occasional blank-stared confusion.”

It’s easy to prove Biden is not fit for office, he’s a Democrat, none of them are fit for office.
Biden is said to be insulated from even more of his staff. In his padded state, he’s told only that he’s fine and brilliant and can win.
That is all he hears, apparently, other than “It’s time for your pill.”
I’m enjoying watching him slowly devolve.

The key words here are “beat Trump”. This jackass was happy to ignore disturbing decline in Biden’s health for 3-1/2 years and allow someone else to make all the important decisions that affect us all, and emboldens our enemies who can see that we’re ‘led’ by sham president. 🤬🤮
I find it amusing the left say they were caught off guard on Biden’s health and cognitive decline when half the country has known about it for years.
The difference this time is his own party AND most of the media wants him gone.
As I understand it, he’s got the democratic delegates locked up so it’s his decision and they aren’t supposed to be able to do anything about it.
Can you imagine if Trump did an AD to the Jefferson Airplane White Rabbit Song with the lyrics Go Ask Jill and scenes of Hunter shooting Up and a spaced out Kamala I bet that would stick.
Jill will force him to do another Presidementia Debate. She already has her WH holiday plans decided.
After all the evil the left is responsible for they deserve every bit of what’s happening......I certainly have no sympathy
