This is amazing.
In a tense meeting with Taliban leaders, Trump declared, “I want to leave Afghanistan, but it’s going to be a conditions-based withdrawal,” before issuing a stark warning.
“If you harm a hair on a single American, I’m going to kill you,” Trump said. The translator conveyed this exact message.
Trump then “reached in his pocket, pulled out a satellite photo of the leader of the Taliban’s home, handed it to him, got up and walked out the room.”

It is only amazing because none of our prior leaders ever negotiated like that, at least not within living memory. What this displays is Trump‘s complete expertise in negotiations, as well as his quick adaptation to the ways of the world, and an understanding of how our most bitter and ruthless enemies think. We desperately need him back in the White House starting next January. The world will be much safer when there’s somebody in the White House that they won’t screw around with, because they know they won’t get away with whatever thinking about trying.
Ronald Reagan is very much within living memory.
Interviewed a lady who was one of the authors of 13 Hours (Benghazi). She shared that the troops the Obama administration finally did send were on a flight to Libya and in the course of that flight, the troops were ordered a 1/2 dozen times to get in and out of their uniforms because the administration was concerned about the optics of an American invasion.
To me, that’s the difference between hand wringing and leadership.
