The Supreme Court just bitch-slapped Jack Smith. Fanny Willis is a beached whale, only fatter. The democrat-controlled media, which have been giving Joe Biden a cat-bath ever since he was elected are in full meltdown after the debate and today's Supreme Court ruling. The media have voiding in their huggies so much that newsrooms at MSNBC, CNN, NPR, and the rest smell like stale urine.
That leaves Judge Merchan. The Biden machine will goose him to give President Trump a prison sentence, effective immediately in an attempt to keep him out of the White House. The democrats do not care at this point at the political firestorm this will cause. They are that desperate.

I am not sure that Merchan signed up to carry that kind of weight. He might issue a prison sentence but then stay it without restriction pending appeal.
John Roberts will act quickly, because he's a politican. And he knows that the political climate is favorable for him to act, if necessary.
They prosecuted him for one ‘crime’ (a misdemeaner paperwork charge they turned into a felony) and then prosecuted him 34 times for it.

Doubtful. Too many Freepers are putting their faith into the SCOTUS for what is state issue (at least as defined/re-defined by NY).

I agree. There are so many constitutional rights that have been violated in this shame trial SCOTUS will get involved without delay.
There's no guarantee that the SCOTUS would intervene. The SCOTUS might just as well tell Trump's lawyers that he needs to appeal to NY appellate courts.
It threw me for a loop that Merchan had ‘health professionals’ give him a report on Trump.

Agreed. I’m a little surprised it doesn’t break some healthcare law to diagnose someone you haven’t examined, but something tells me Merchan won’t care.
Threat? You don’t seem to know what a threat is.
I think it more likely that he gives him probation and then sets the terms of probation to make it almost impossible for him to conduct a campaign.
That’s been the goal all along — to take him out of the running and that would be far more effective than a prison sentence.
