Scoped rifle under 200 yds at a 6 in target? The shooter sucked as bad as the overwatch did.
I have yet to see the rifle and am at a loss to say it was scoped.

-—the shooter sucked——? Yeah, he did, and that helped save Trump. Not to make an excuse for the dumbass but the building he was shooting from looks to be, maybe, 30 feet high. That’s a pretty good down angle and requires some adjustment which an experienced shooter would have compensated for. It might explain the two wounded folks who were seated below Trump and down to his right. Not sure where the fatality was sitting but it seems like Trump was hit by at least the fourth shot which means , at least, the shooter was trying to get the range. It also explains why Trump heard shots before he was hit?
We don’t yet know he pedigree of the shooter’s AR platform rifle. While there are plenty of very accurate AR’s out there, there is also plenty of put-together junk. Could be the rifle wasn’t good enough to deliver the necessary aimed shot.
And the FOX guys are saying his dad bought it for him. That’s a dumbass who is in some life-changing trouble.
