Jill being so energetic next to him in contrast, in these appearances, is only reinforcing what the public saw last night.
Jill looks and acts desperate and as though she is campaigning for herself, not for office but to not be forced into social exile along with Joe as he gets put away.
My feeling is that she fears losing her social status and her place in the social circle she is currently part of because Joe will disappear from the public world, not merely lose reelection.
Past time to implement the 25th amendment!!!
