Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie is mourning the death of his wife.
Massie posted to his social media pages, sharing the news his wife, Rhonda, died on Thursday.
"Yesterday my high school sweetheart, the love of my life for over 35 years, the loving mother of our 4 children, the smartest kindest woman I ever knew, my beautiful and wise queen forever, Rhonda went to Heaven. Thank you for your prayers for our family in this difficult time."

How terribly sad. Prayers up, for Rep Massie, his children and all who loved Rhonda.
I just saw a vid clip, of Rep Massie, in the halls of Congress, from a couple of days ago. Wondering if this was sudden and unexpected.
🙏🏻
At some point way back when, it dawned on me that the only relative I got to choose was my mate. All the rest were walk-ons.
So very sorry. Grief is an awful thing. RIP.
I am so sorry to hear it. Condolences to the Massie family.
How sad for him and his family. He doesn’t look that old to have been married for 35 years, or to have grandchildren. God bless her soul. May she rest in peace, and may the Lord bless and comfort Thomas and the rest of their family, and loved ones.
But FR cares more about the debate and who's the better golfer between Biden or Trump than they are about asking questions.
Cori Bush is going to lose her seat too. Not because she's a leftist nutjob, but because she's not toeing the line.
Meanwhile, it's all over X and Telegram.

Here’s a Daily Mail link with some lovely pictures of their trip to Mt. Rainier.....
I noticed that. This place has changed so much.
Mrs. Massie seemed like the light of her family’s life. May God bless the Massie family during this very difficult time.
Condolences to Rep. Massie and family. Rest in peace, Mrs. Massie.
Thomas Massie is an excellent congressman. I’m sorry to hear this.
Mr. Massie and his late wife were high school sweethearts, so I am guessing the 35 years was from the start of their relationship in high school.
It’s so sad. They were just on vacation last week. Since they haven’t released her cause of death, it could have been a planned last vacation due to a terminal illness, or something that came on suddenly. I’m glad he had those years with her, and it’s also nice to know that people still do stay married for many happy years. I wasn’t one of the lucky ones, and I never married again by choice, and raised my two sons alone.
He started dating her 35 years ago. Both went to MIT born in ‘71
May God bless Rep Massie and his family. We could use 450 more of his like in Congress.
Very sorry to hear of this. He’s one of the good guys, and by all accounts was extremely devoted to his wife. R.I.P. Mrs. Massie.
There's just no telling. Could've been a stroke, heart attack, blood clot that broke loose, or even sepsis. There are all kinds of things that can lurk dormant in the body for a time.
I think people's experiences of the last few years have made them prone to assume right away that any sudden death is MRNA injection-related, based on what we've seen. And that's a perfectly reasonable assumption; it's just not the culprit in ALL cases.
The elephant standing in this room is he’s the only one up there without an AIPAC handler.
He’s been outspoken about how many elephants we have in so many of our rooms. There’s one in just about every room these days.
