Does this mean NBA players get to push her around or make nasty comments about her now?

An average of 18.9 million viewers turned on the final, making it the most watched women’s college basketball game ever, according to data from Nielsen, ESPN said Tuesday. The epic finale, which was broadcast on ABC and ESPN, peaked at 24.1 million viewers in the game’s final 15 minutes.

I don’t know, 12 million is good. Especially for an almost sweep. And remember they own the WNBA. So “losing” rating to itself isn’t a big deal. It’s like Diet Coke selling better than Coke, the money all goes to the same bank account.

WNBA is in essence a subsidiary of the NBA-

it’s a little odd to say one is in trouble due to the success of the other.

In 1978, one could’ve bought an NBA team for a few cartons of cigarettes and a personal check.

The same teams are now worth billions-I need their kind of trouble.

The NBA is global.

People still buys their merchandise and tickets to attend the games. But their ratings have truly declined.

And the ratings are even worse as a percentage of the population.

Caitlin Clark is a special human being and basketball player. Conceivably the finest all-around basketball player I’ve seen in my 64 years of trying to walk up-right on this Earth.
